Made to Shape.
Joemetry started about a year ago, as a way out. I was working a job with long hours, low pay, and a culture built for speed instead of depth — there was never room to actually sit with an idea. Watching a colleague leave to freelance made me ask why I hadn't tried it myself.
For a long time, nothing moved. No contacts, no traction — just me quietly gathering references, building mockups I couldn't ship at my day job, and figuring out what I actually believed about design. I lost touch with it for a while after I left that job, then picked it back up and never let go again.
What I noticed, over and over, is that a brand's results were rarely about how beautiful its output was. They were about the idea behind how it presented itself — the strategy, not the surface. Most brands don't have a looks problem. They have a rightness problem: the right message, in the right proportion, for the right audience. That's what "Made to Shape" means to me — not decoration, direction.
